Mangalore: Kashi Mutt Swamiji to Participate in ‘Kodial Teru’

Mangalore, Jan 22: Sri Sudhindrateertha Swamiji, spiritual head of Varanasi-based Sri Kashi Mutt Samsthan arrived at Lord Venkataramana Temple at Car Street in the city, late evening on Thuresday January 21. He is here to take part in the annual car festival of Lord Venkataramana Temple, famously known as ‘Kodial Teru’ being held on Friday January 22.

He was received by his followers, disciples and devotees of the temple, with lot of fanfare. He was offered the ‘Poornakumbha’ reception. Temple managing trustee, C L Shenoy, trustees, Madhav Kamat, Nityanand Nayak and scores of dignitaries paid respects to the Swamiji and offered him their respects on his arrival.

    Its been after long years, I could see Paramapujya Swamiji. After having gone thru'lot of pain & disturbance in mind, still parampujya swamiji made it for kodial teru. Its an honour & blessing to every m'lorean by swamiji's arrival. "Sri Sudheendra Thirtha swami Maharaj ki Jai"
