Udupi, Sep 29: “Former Brahmavar taluk panchayat member Umesh Naik Cherkadi has obtained a variety of posts in Congress party and now joined BJP betraying the party,” clarified Brahmavar block Congress.

“Umesh Naik Cherkadi obtained maximum benefit in Congress party and, being unable to remain dedicated and sincere in the party, stabbed Congress in the back and joined BJP. Congress has not incurred any loss due to him joining BJP. But he is sure to cheat BJP also in the future as he has inculcated only cheating in him,” stated Brahmavar block Congress in a press release.
