Udupi: MLA Raghupati Bhat hands over cheques worth Rs 2,80,610 to victims of natural calamities

Udupi, Sep 29: MLA K Raghupathi Bhat handed over relief cheques at his office today to the families in Brahmavar who were victims of natural calamities.

A cheque for Rs 39,942 was handed over to Varamballi resident Ranja, Rs 11,000 to Aruna Shettigar, Rs 55,000 to Herur village resident Sushila Shedthi, Rs 22,000 to Haradi village resident Jayanti, Rs 24,726 to Anand Ameen, Rs 20,000 to Cherkady village resident Yashodha, Rs 39,942 to Kalthur village resident Susheela, Rs 35,000 to Uppoor village resident Peter D’Souza and cheque for Rs 35,000 was handed over to Raghavendra Rao.

Local BJP leaders and government officials were present.
