Kundapur: Satyagraha for Atmaneerikshan held on Gandhi Jayanti

Kundapur, Oct 2: Satyagraha for Atmaneerikshan started on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on Friday October 2 at Shastri Circle in the city. This is jointly organized by Yuva Brigade Udupi district, Sister Nivedita Foundation and Swarajakka Mukkalmooru organizations.

The Satyagraha started by offering floral tributes to the portraits of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri.

The slogan of the Satyagraha is 'I will offer my body, mind and richness when the call for nation comes. I will never follow the anti-national ideology or its defenders. I will be committed to the ideals of Ramarajya. I oppose the slaughtering of cows. I will not follow untouchability. I will ponder over the cleanliness initiated by Mahatma Gandhi and strive towards building Swacchh Bharath. I will use more Indian made goods and help gramodyoga. I will devote my life to Atmanirbhar Bharath'.

Pradeep Kumar Basrur, Subramanya Udupi, Shashidhara Udupi, Shamantha Udupi, Rashriram Udupi, Raghavendra Jogi Shankaranarayana, Prashanth Kharvi Basrur and Bharath Basrur were present.
