Udupi: District Congress Committee accuses BJP of practicing cunning politics

Udupi, Oct 2: District Congress Committee Udupi observed Gandhi Jayanthi and birth anniversary of the late former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shashtri at Congress Bhavan Brahmavar here on Friday, October 2. 

District Congress president Ashok Kumar Kodavoor, in his keynote address said that, "BJP-led government is following a cunning policy in politics. The Union government has passed many Bills through Ordinance, which is against democracy. Bills were passed with majority votes, because most of the MPs are from BJP. What was the urgency of passing those bills? He alleged. He maintained that the Bills were passed due to the pressure of Union government. It is trying to regulate the market through implementing APMC Act, he added.
 
















On this occasion, KPCC  panelist  Sudhir Kumar Maroli, former MLA Vinay Kumar Sorake, Mairmady Sudhakar Shetty, B Narasimha Murthy, Fr William Martis, Prakhyath Shetty, Shabbir Ahmad, Yatish Karkera, Harish Shetty Pangala, Umesh Shetty Ellur, Keshav Kotian, Habib Ali, Ismail Athradi, Louis Lobo, Saurabh Ballal, Geetha Vagle, Chandrika Shetty, Veronica Cornelio, Meenakshi Madhav Bannanje, Roshni Olivera, Dr Sunitha Shetty, Prakash Jathanna, Keerthi Shetty, Harish Kini, Mahabala Kundar, Ramesh Kanchan, Nityananda Shetty, Jyothi Hebbar, Prabhakar Achari, Bhaskar Rao Kediyur and others were present.
