Mangaluru: Six arrested in petrol pump theft case

Mangaluru, Oct 3: Six people were arrested in connection to the petrol pump theft case at Ujjodi under Kankanady police station limits.

The theft occurred on September 20.

The accused were involved in theft case within Mangaluru rural police station limits as well as Bantwal police station limits on September 20.

During interrogation, the gang revealed that they were involved in theft case under Punjalkatte station limits and three cases at Ullal police station limits. There are eight accused in the gang, among which six are already arrested. Search is on for another two.

The arrested have been identified as Mohammed Suhail (19), resident of KC Road, Ashiq (19), resident of Talapady, and Mohammed Arfan (20), resident of Falnir. The names other three are yet to be revealed.
