Mangaluru: Gang break into house , threatens family members

Mangaluru, Oct 5: A gang of miscreants reportedly arrived at the courtyard of a house occupied by Francis D'Souza (17) at Pachanady in the city during late night hours on Saturday October 3, vandalised the place and posed threats to family members. A complaint in this connection was registered in the rural police station here in this respect.

As per the complaint, a nine-member gang which included Nitin, Mahesh, Munna, Dhanush and Rohith, after visiting the house of Francis rained choicest abuses at the family members. The gang members also kicked the mother of Francis and flashed sword at those who tried to block the attack.

It is said that the accused were under the influence of ganja when they indulged in this violent act.
