Bagalkot: Young lovers from different castes commit suicide

Bagalkot. Oct 5: A young couple who said to have loved each other ended their lives by hanging in a rented home at Basava Nagar in Mudhol town of the district on Sunday, October 4.

The deceased were Anand Banahatti (23) from Baragi village in Mudhol taluk, and Akshata Kilyar (16) from the same village. The two, it is said felt that their parents may not approve of their relationship and hence decided to kill themselves.

Anand was working in a bakery located near Ranna Circle in Mudhol. Akshata, a student reportedly was in love with him.
