Mangaluru: Aloka Foundation distributes animal feed, medicines to Vatsalya Animal Care Trust

Mangaluru Oct 5: As an initiative of animal feed drive, members of Aloka Foundation along with the president Pramod Kumar, secretary Dr Manohar Naik, treasurer Kantini Pramod Bhaskar Kumar distributed animal feed and medicines for the well being of sheltered animals in the Vatsalya Animal Care Trust at Shakthinagar on October 3.

Animal feed such as Whiskars Kitten jelly packets, Whiskars Cat Dry Feed, Whiskars Kitten Dry Feed, kitten milk powder boxes and lactol kitten and puppy milk powder along with rice and wheat were provided for the animals' wellbeing.

Suma Nayak and Charles, treasurer of Animal care Trust were also present.



In another event, on the occasion of World Animal Welfare Day,  on October 4, teams from Aloka Foundation held an extension programme on Animal Feed Drive at Mangaluru from KPT to Sulthan Battery, Puttur, Udupi, Manipal, Shirva, Mudarangadi and Bantakal of Kaup taluk.

Aloka Foundation, president Pramod Kumar, Rehab Tonse along with members of Aloka Foundation and well-wishers and volunteers were present to feed stray animals with milk, bread, biscuits and home-cooked food.

The event was coordinated by Spoorthi, Nisha D Souza from Udupi, Disha Mathias Karkala and RJ Ajay.

Aloka Foundation was started by a team of young people to create awareness and educate people in various aspects of education and health.
It's a non-profit organization that works towards helping people in need and aims to put best efforts towards all sorts of humanitarian work.
