Kundapur Patrakartara Sangha pays homage to departed journalist Harish

Kundapur, Oct 5: “The untimely demise of Harish, member of Taluk Patrakartara Sangha is painful for us. The death of Harish who had developed a good rapport with all without differences has shocked all of us,” said Kundapur taluk Patrakartara Sangha president Shashidhar Hemmady.

He spoke in a programme held at Kundapur press club on Monday to pay homage to Harish, member of Kundapur taluk Paryaniratha Patrakartara sangha, who passed away recently due to sickness.

“We feel sad to see his situation at home. He had the responsibilities of looking after two sisters, mother and sick father. He was shouldering all the responsibilities as the only son of the family. The future of the family will be difficult. The sangha will fully support any programme that will be held to support the family,” he said.

Member of Harish family and journalist Udaya Kumar Tallur said that Harish was ahead in Dalit organizations and Sauharda programmes. “Dalit Sangharsha Samiti is preparing to hold a programme in the name of Harish who was self-confident. The sangha should support the cause,” he said.

Member of the executive, journalist Jayashekar Matappadi said that Harish has left us at a young age. “He used to work sincerely as a journalist and collector of advertisements,” he said.

Udupi district working journalist’s association vice president, Rajesh K C, paid tributes to the picture of Harish. Taluk secretary Nagaraja Rayappanamata and journalist Srikanth Hemmady spoke.

Journalist Krishna G Mendon, Raghavendra Balkur, Laxmi Machina, Yogish Kumbhasi, Silvester D’ Souza, Dinesh Rayappanamata, Rajesh Kundapur, Nagaraj Vandse, Prashanth Pade and Santhosh Kundeshwar were present.
