Udupi, May 20: MP D V Sadanand Gowda presented a cheque of Rs 25,000 to Fathima Zohara, a resident of Mudutonse here on Wednesday May 19, which was sanctioned under health relief aid of state wakf women development board.
State Haj committee member and BJP district minority morcha president M Salim Ambagilu said that Health relief aid has been the newly-introduced programme by the state, meant for ailing Muslim women and urged more number of community women to take advantage of the programme.
The district BJP chief secretary Shyamala S Kundar, district secretary Geethanjali Suvarna, wakf advisory committee district president Haji T Budan Basha, BJP leader Karamath Ali and BJP minority morcha president Azaruddin Khan among others were present.
