Mangalore: Fight Between Corporation Engineers Turns Physical

Mangalore, May 27: In a complaint filed in Barke police station on Wednesday May 26, Shivaraj P B, a junior engineer working for the local city corporation, said that assistant executive engineer of the corporation, Linge Gowda, had hit him on the back in a rage, besides speaking derisively about the caste to which he belongs.

Reportedly, assistant executive engineers, Linge Gowda and Gopal Gowda, were involved in verbal skirmishes at the vehicle parking area of the city corporation building on some issues on Wednesday evening, after leaving office. Shivaraj, who was passing by, tried to strike truce between them. Shivaraj said that Linge Gowda passed unsolicited remarks about his caste, besides physically assaulting him.

Shivaraj, who initially got admitted into Wenlock Hospital in the city, was later admitted as an in-patient in a private hospital here. A case was registered in Barke police station in this connection.

    By looking at the title in the home page alone i could guess that Linge Gowda's name would be there in this case of fight between corporation engineers. He is a notorious fellow, busy filling pockets and increasing bank balance at any cost. Some times back lokayukta raided his properties. do not know what has happened to his case. he should be sacked immediately. or else hi is in hesitant even to murder someone for his personal gains...
