Udupi: Santhosh Kumar Bairampalli expelled from BJP

Udupi, Dec 16: “Santhosh Kumar Bairampalli who has indulged in anti-party activities repeatedly for a long time has been expelled from BJP for a period of six years,” stated BJP district president Kuyilady Suresh Nayak in a press release.

Santhosh Kumar is a vice president of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and was active in the organization. He had also filed a nomination recently to contest from Bairampalli panchayat as an independent candidate.

VHP Mangaluru division secretary Sharan Pumpwell had issued a press release that Santhosh was relieved from VHP responsibilities a few days ago. Santhosh who was disturbed by these developments had decided to contest as an independent candidate to make the panchayat corruption-free. He had also held a press conference in this connection.

However, the BJP district president has now announced that Santhosh has been expelled from the party.
