Mangalore: Air Crash – Another Body Identified

Mangalore, May 29: On Friday May 28, the Centre for DNA, Finger Prints and Diagnostics, Hyderabad, published the test results of another victim of the recent air crash here. Out of the 12 bodies which remain to be identified on the basis of DNA reports, the report confirmed the identity of the body of Lokesh Narayan P from Kunjattur Toominad in Kasargod district, Kerala.

The body, which was preserved at Tejasvini Hospital here, was claimed by the family on Friday night, after they were informed of the test result earlier in the day. With this, the identities of 11 out of the 22 unidentified bodies have been established.

Four bodies belonging to passengers from Kerala, six from Karnataka, and the body of an aircraft crew, are yet to be identified. It is hoped that the identification process will be completed within two to three days.
