Mangalore, May 29: Mohan Shetty (34), a resident of Alike House in Mooduperara village in the taluk, committed suicide at his home on Thursday May 27.
Shetty, who had been to Dubai, had returned home on May 12. He was married about 18 months back. On Thursday, Shetty, who was watching a television programme, suddenly got up and went out. As he did not come back even after a long gap, the family members went searching for him and found him lying in the cattle shed of the house. He had consumed some insecticide and fallen sick.
He was immediately admitted into the government hospital here. However, he could not be revived. A case of unnatural death was registered in Bajpe police station.
