Beltangady. Dec 23: In an accident which happened near Kelagina Manjotti in Nada village near here on the night of Monday December 21, a person died and another suffered injuries.

The accident occurred when a motorbike and a scooter were involved in a head-on collision. Gopalakrishna (18), son of Janardhan Gowda from Killur who was riding the scooter, lost his life in the accident. Bike rider Pratisha (23), suffered serious injuries. He has been admitted into a private hospital in Mangaluru.
