Kundapur, Dec 24: ‘Big Mishra Peda’ opened its new outlet at Ganesh complex, near Kundapur Shastri circle on Thursday December 24.

Appanna Hegde, managing trustee of Basrur Mahatobhara Mahalingeshwara temple who inaugurated the outlet said that Kundapur is on the way to further growth and it needs shops such as this of unique style, well known to quality. “It is a matter of joy that the shop is opened in view of the increasing population and conducive to the taste of the people. The outlet is bound to be popular if customers are welcomed with smiles and quality products are sold to them,” he said.

Kundapur municipal council president, Veena Bhasker Mendon, chief executive Gopalakrishna Shetty, Kollur Mookambika temple former managing trustee, Krishna Adyantaya, Rotary district former governor Abhinandan Shetty, Ankadakatte Sahana group's managing director Surendra Shetty, Koteshwar Vighneshwara Poly Products partner Suresh Bettin, Kundapur complex proprietor Diganth Shetty Anagodu, Prasanna Shetty Edoor, Big Mishra Peda company Karnataka, Maharashtra and Goa state marketing head Sridhar B Patil and others were present.



Big Mishra Peda which has become a household name in Karnataka for sweets and bakery products is introduced in Kundapur. Besides Karnataka, the company has outlets in Goa and Maharashtra also. The shop opened in Kundapur is its 187th outlet. It is the ninth outlet overall in Udupi and Dakshina Kannada. Well known Pedas including Dharwad pedas, sweets, bakery products, dry fruits and ice creams are available here.
