Mangaluru: Multilingual theatre festival to be held in city from Jan 11

Mangaluru, Jan 9: Multilingual theatre festival is going to be held from January 11 at the outdoor auditorium of Padua college in the city. This event is organized under the joint auspices of Asthithva (R), Mangaluru, Padua theatre study center and Arehole Prathistana.

Theater activities are coming to life after 10 months. On January 11, 'Sahebru Bandavre' semi-lingual drama, directed by Jeevanram Sullia will be presented by Karnataka semilingual, culture and Sahithya academy.

On January 16, Kannada drama 'Biddoorina Big Bin', directed by Raj Guru and on January 17, Konkani drama 'Ami Poynari', based on the syllabus of degree classes, directed by Christy will be presented.

Entry is free for all the dramas. The show will start exactly at 6 pm. Cooperation of the kind-hearted audience is requested by the organizers in order to intensify the theatre activities in Mangaluru after the pandemic.
