Udupi, Jan 12: Girija Health Care and Surgicals held a health camp as part of their first anniversary celebrations. The camp was inaugurated by the deputy commissioner G Jagadeesh.

Deputy commissioner G Jagadeesh said that the organization extended complete support to the district administration during the covid lockdown. "It supplied all the surgical equipment necessary to the district administration on time. May the organization celebrate many more anniversaries in the future."

Dakshina Kannada Mogaveera Mahajana Sangha Uchila president, Jaya C Kotian who was the chief guest said, "Girja Health Care organization has provided immense cooperation to conduct the last rites of people who died due to covid from Mogaveera Mahajana Sangha and Doctor G Shanker Family Trust. May the organization prosper," he said.

A wheel chair was donated to a person named Leela. Girija Health Care and Surgicals partner, Ravindra Shetty welcomed the gathering while Harish Kumar rendered the vote of thanks.

Free health check-up camps will be held by the organization in its Udupi and Mangaluru branches every Sunday in the future.
