Kundapur, Jan 16: “Giving the position of a minister is left to the chief minister. Central high command decides it. I am not sad for not obtaining the position. I am content,” said Kundapur MLA Halady Srinivas Shetty.

He was responding to the questions raised by news reporters. Reacting to the question about victory of BJP supported candidates in gram panchayat elections, he said that there is no party in the elections under panchayat raj Act. “It is not right to say party supported candidates. It is an election free from parties,” he said.

He said that Kundapur flyover work will be completed soon.
