Bantwal, Jan 16: “Demand from foreign countries with faith in Indian scientists for vaccines manufactured in India is a matter of pride,” said MLA Rajesh Naik Ulipadiguthu. He was speaking in a hall programme held in Bantwal community health centre after setting in motion distribution of anti-corona vaccines.
“Everybody in India has fought with courage against coronavirus. It is a matter of joy that the vaccine has reached people through the health department in the country through the bold step of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he said. He specially thanked officials who extended cooperation during the pandemic. He said that there should be no suspicion about the vaccine.
The programme was set in motion after administering vaccine to health department staff Ganesh.
President of municipal council Mohammed Sharif, vice president Jacinta, taluk panchayat vice president Abbas Ali, district panchayat members M Tungappa Bangera, Ravindra Kambali, Booda president Devadas Shetty, tahsildar Rashmi S R, taluk panchayat EO Rajanna, Vitla CDPO Sudha Joshi, Bantwal CDPO Gayatri, BO Jnanesh, education department’s Sujatha, medical officer Pushpalatha, Dr Saumya, ASI Jinnappa and others were present.
Taluk medical officer Dr Deepa Prabhu welcomed the guests after an introduction. Suresh Parkala compered the programme.

Sun, Jan 17 2021Before selling the vaccine to other countries try to vaccinate Indian citizens first who are suffering because of mismanagement of COVID.
