Bantwal: Goodinabali Welfare Association of KSA Donates Books to Students

Under the aegis of the Saudi Arabia-based Goodinabali Welfare Association and Mangalore-based Talent Research Foundation, a ‘Come Back to School’ programme was held at Hayatul Islam Higher Primary School, recently.  Books were also distributed to students free of cost.

MLA Ramanath Rai presided over the programme.
 
He assured that a high school would be set up in the locality in response to the memorandum presented to him by the local unit of Goodinabali Welfare Association.
 
Goodinabali Masjid Khatib Abdul Rashid Sakhafi inaugurated the programme. 
 
Masjid president G Mohammed, former school correspondent G M Mohammed, school managing committee president Haji G Yousuf, Jamiat-ul-Falah Bantwal unit president P Mohammed, assistant forest conservator Mohammed, town council vice-president Mohammed Iqbal, entrepreneur Mohammed Hanif, Talent Research Foundation office-bearers, Goodinabali Welfare Association president B K Abdul Karim, secretary G K Abdul Khader, school correspondent and members of co-ordinating committee were present on the occasion.
 
Teacher B Ramachandra Rao welcomed the gathering.  Haji Noorul Amin proposed the vote of thanks.  Mohammed Shamiulla compered the programme.
