Bengaluru: Karnataka Byari Sahitya Academy releases DVD-2 for learning Byari script

Bengaluru, Jan 28: Karnataka Sahitya Academy released DVD-2 on learning the Byari script at the Academy office on January 27.

Rahim Uchil, president of Karnataka Byari Academy said that the language has a history of 1,400 years. Both the calendar, script and the first DVD have already been released. The release of the DVD fulfils the absence of study material for those who want to learn the script of the language.

Registrar Poornima welcomed the gathering and rendered the vote of thanks. Byari Academy members Shamshir Budoli, Roopesh Uchil and Nafeesat Misria were present.

    Will the Beary script promote Beary language and increase the number of speakers? If the script different from Kannada script, or Malayalam script, readers will have to learn a new script. In that case, those interested in speaking the language, if they know English and the Roman script, would learn quicker if Beary language books are printed in Roman scrip.
