Moodbidri, Jun 20: The people need to be aware about the developmental works carried out by the government in their towns so that the concerned authorities do not misuse the money in the name of such works, said district in-charge minister Krishna J Palemar.
He was speaking after inaugurating the developmental activities of Rs 90 lac carried out in the Moodbidri town limits in 2008-09 and 2009-10. The programme was held at Gurumutt Kalikamba temple premises here on Saturday June 19.
After inaugurating the various completed developmental projects in the town, Palemar said that it is undergoing a lot of progress and he is happy about it. The market court building construction will be undertaken soon, he assured.
Municipality president Boja Kotian presided over the programme. MLA K Abhayachandra Jain was the chief guest.
