Kundapur, Jun 21: ‘Roopakala’, an amateur drama troupe nurtured by patrons of theatre, is all set to stage its maiden show in Dubai shortly.
Roopakala is a bi-lingual drama troupe that has a long history of over five decades. It is a household name in this part of the district.
It has been staging popular dramas such as ‘Mooru Muttu’, ‘Papa Pandu’, ‘Awanalla-Evanu’, ‘Rama-Krishna-Govinda’, ‘Golmal’, ‘Suicide-Sundara’, and ‘Naguvudo-Aluvodo’ for the past two decades. These are being staged both in Kannada and Konkani.
