Mangaluru, Jan 30: A person expressed his resentment against the policemen through social media on Friday January 29, duly alleging that his new Bullet motorbike was damaged when the traffic police towed it away.

Sudesh says he had parked his motorbike at Lalbagh duly ensuring that no one was inconvenienced. After coming to know that it was towed for being kept in a no parking zone, Sudesh went to Kadri police station and found that his bike had been damaged. He created a video clip pouring out his dissatisfaction about the damage.

In the video, the youth is seen saying that he had kept the two-wheeler at a place which did not bother anyone. Still, he says he has no problem with paying fine of Rs 1,650 for keeping it in no parking zone as claimed by the police. He expresed anger by saying that no one is taking responsiblity for damaging his vehicle. He said that the police should follow proper system in conducting towing operations and sought support of the public for this demand.

There have also been several cases in the recent past in which the vehicle owners have blamed the police for unnecessarily towing away vehicles in the city.
