Mangaluru: Entrepreneur Prakash Shetty conferred 'Indian Affairs Visionary Leader' award

Mangaluru, Jan 30: Managing director of MRG group, entrepreneur Prakash Shetty was conferred the 'Indian Affairs Visionary Leader 2020' award.

Chief editor of Network Media Group, 11th annual Indian Leadership conclave and Indian affairs leaders’ award judge, president Satya Brahma disclosed the news. Due to Covid, the award was sent to the office of K Prakash Shetty.

Korangrapadi Prakash Shetty has been identified as a successful businessman in the real estate and hospitality sector since 1993.

He successfully runs Goldfinch hotel which has several branches, international level CourtYard by Marriott Hotel and DoubleTree By Hilton. He has plans to construct more hotels, buildings and commercial complexes and provide jobs to several families.

Leaders of five companies were in the final stage of selection, while Prakash Shetty bagged the award after being voted by the public and judges. Among those who received the award in the past are Ratan Tata, Narayan Murthy, Mukesh Ambani, Kiran Mazumdar Shaw and Priyanka Chopra.
