Mangalore, Jun 23: The department of orthodontics of A B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, Deralakatte here organized a workshop on ‘Treatment alternatives of Skeletal Class III malocclusions’ on Tuesday June 22, as part of Silver Jubilee Celebrations.



Professor B Rajendra Prasad, principal, A B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences was the chief guest. Professor N R Krishnaswamy, vice-principal and head of the department of Orthodontics, Rags Dental College and Hospital, Chennai was the resource person. He is also the chairman of Indian Board of Orthodontics.

Professor U S Krishna Nayak, dean and chairman, organizing committee welcomed the gathering. Professor M N Kuttappa, organizing secretary proposed the vote of thanks. 

The workshop was one of a kind incorporating the latest and various treatment alternatives for skeletal class III malocclusions. As many as 170 delegates from all over the state attended the workshop.
