Karkala: Rotary zone 5 hosts sports tournament ‘Gobbu Gammatth’ Belman

Karkala, Feb 4: A sports tournament by Rotary zone 5, ‘Gobbu Gammatth’ was held at Belman Government Pre University college sports grounds.

Former Rotary district 3182 governor Dr Bharathesh Adiraj who inaugurated the tournament said that the participation of the Rotary members in the tournament will help to strengthen their mutual relationship in the organization. He wished the tournament well.



Chief guest, school development committee president Sathish Mada, appreciated the programmes of Rotary Belman.

Government high school headmistress Malati conveyed her best wishes. Rotary zone 5 assistant governor, Rotarian Naveen Ameen explained the rules of the tournament. Zonal soldier Rotarian Suresh Rao advised to accept victory and defeat equally in the spirit of the sport. Zone 5 sports convener Rotarian Devendra Shetty wished the programme well. He performed the responsibilities of providing food and soft drinks during the tournament and received appreciation from all.

Rotary Belman president Rotarian Subhash Kumar presided over the programme and welcomed all. Rotarian Vignesh compered the programme. Organization secretary Rotarian Raviraj Shetty thanked the gathering.
