Kundapur: Rashtriya Heddari Jagruthi Samithi requests minister to exempt locals from FASTag

Kundapur, Feb 6: Rashtriya Heddari Jagruthi Samithi submitted a request to Karnataka minister of Hindu religious organizations and endowment department, Kota Srinivas Poojary and Udupi additional deputy commissioner Sadashiva Prabhu requesting for exemption for local people from FASTag at Sastan toll gate.

The minister responding to the request said that a meeting of MP and MLAs is planned in the office of Udupi deputy commissioner. “The exemption at the toll gate will be stressed at the meeting,” he said.

Sastan Heddari Jagruthi Samithi president Shamsunder Nayiri, secretary Alwyn Andrade, former president Pratap Shetty, former secretary Airodi Poojary, committee’s Bhoja Poojary, Prashanth Shetty, Ravindra Tingalaya and others were present.
