Udupi, Feb 8: Entrepreneur and president of Udupi District Builders Association, Jerry Vincent Dias, donated five lac rupees for the construction of Sri Ram Mandir at Ayodhya.
He said initially he had planned to donate two lac rupees to the cause. However, as this decision did not give him satisfaction, he said he donated five lac rupees. "I have been a devotee of Lord Ram and Krishna since my childhood. I felt proud when donating this money. It gave me immense satisfaction," he stated.
MLA, K Raghupathi Bhat, Urban Development Authority chairman, Raghavendra Kini, RSS city Sanghhachalak, Ramachandra Sanil, BJP city unit president, Mahesh Thakoor and others were present to accept this donation.
