Mangaluru: 14-year-old commits suicide after being rebuked by parents

Mangaluru, Feb 9: A 14-year-old student committed suicide in Cherkala of Balthila village in Bantwal for a trivial reason on Monday, February 8.

The deceased has been identified as Harshith, a Class 9 student of a government high school in Shamboor.

It is said that Harshith had come late to his residence from a programme and forgot to bring ice cream to his sister. Due to which he was reamed by his parents. Harshith who grew upset over this took a drastic step and killed himself.
