Kasargod: Student Clashes – Government College Closed Indefinitely

Kasargod, Jun 26: After clashes between two different student unions vitiated atmosphere at the college,  the local government college was closed for an indefinite period.

Seven students were injured in a clash between two different student unions owing allegiance to Students Federation of India and Kerala State Muslim Students Federation respectively, on Thursday June 24. College principal, K Madhavan Nambiar, said that the decision to close the college was taken under instructions from the police department.

The policemen have already registered cases against six persons relating to the clashes.
