Mangalore: CDE Programme Organized at A J Institute of Dental Sciences

Mangalore, Jun 26: The department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics, ‘Gyan’, CDE cell, A J Institute of Dental Sciences (AJIDS) in association with Indian Orthodontic Society conducted a Continuing Dental Education (CDE) programme, recently.



 

 

Prashant Shetty, vice-president, Laxmi Memorial Educational Trust was the chief guest for the inaugural function.

Dr B Sureshchandra, principal, AJIDS, was the guest of honour. Professor N R Krishnaswamy, vice-principal and HOD, Orthodontics, Ragas Dental College, Chennai and Professor Dinesh M R, vice principal and HOD, Orthodontics were the guest speakers.

Earlier in the inaugural function, Dr Rohan Rai, professor and HOD, Orthodontics and organizing chairman of the CDE welcomed the gathering.  The CDE was well attended by more than 140 delegates from Bangalore, Mangalore, Tumkur, Davangere, Sullia, Coorg and Manipal. The delegates included HOD's of Orthodontics of various dental colleges, professors and Post Graduate student. Professor K Nillan Shetty, organizing secretary of the CDE delivered the vote of thanks.
