Bantwal, Feb 10: SDPI leaders have lodged a police complaint with Bantwal police station urging the inspector to take legal action against MLA Harish Poonja and minister K S Eshwarappa for giving inflammatory speeches during a congratulatory programme held by BJP in Beltangady.

SDPI Bantwal block committee member Munish Ali has lodged the complaint along with a video recording of the speeches.

Dakshina Kannada chief secretary, Shahul Hameed S H, Bantwal block president, Yusuf Aladka, block joint secretary, Saleem Aladi and Malik Kolake were present.
