Udupi: Traffic police stop vehicles, help cobra cross road

Udupi, Feb 12: In an interesting incident, traffic cops in Udupi stopped the ongoing traffic at Kalsanka junction to let a cobra cross the road.

The incident took place on Thursday, February 11 when the police personnel on the spot immediately stopped the traffic so that the cobra could cross the road. It took the reptile about 15-20 minutes to get to the other side of the road.

The cobra has been rescued, however, the onlookers said that it was a little injured.

A video of the same has gone viral on social media.
