Kundapur: 16 bulls illegally ferried rescued, suspects arrested, vehicle impounded

Kundapur, Feb 12: The police team under the leadership of DySP Srikanth and police circle inspector, Santhosh Kaikini chased at Maravanthe seashore here in the early morning on February 12 a lorry which was ferrying cattle. They seized lorry no KA19 A1801 carrying 16 bulls from Kolhapur, Maharashtra to Mangaluru. The vehicle driver and the cleaner are arrested by the police.



Out of 16 bulls, two had already died. The remaining 14 bulls are rescued. The operation by the Byndoor police circle inspector is being commended by all.
