Mangaluru: Child goes missing, found later asleep in terrace of apartment

Mangaluru, Feb 12: Tense situation prevailed among parents and neighbours after a four-year-old boy who was playing near the apartment went missing.

This incident took place in Uppinangady.

The boy who went missing is identified as Ehan son of Ashraf who resides in the old bus stand apartment complex.

When the incident came to light, the locals informed the incident to the police, who launched a search for the boy. When a few locals searched nearby, they found the boy sleeping in the terrace of the nearby four-storeyed apartment building. Later, the people who were involved in the search operation were called off.

It is said the boy who was playing outside moved towards the city, when vendors saw the child, they had asked the boy to go back to his residence. As the child could not recognise the way to his residence, he moved to the terrace of another apartment complex and fell asleep there due to tiredness and hunger.
