Udupi: BPL cards of ineligible people to be cancelled

Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (HB/EP)

Udupi, Feb 12: The government has considered seriously the instances of people who are financially sound but holding BPL ration cards. The deputy commissioner has asked such people to return the cards. Stringent criminal action will be taken against the ineligible people if they do not return them, he warned in the press release.

Another opportunity for E KYC

Those who are holding Anthyodaya and BPL cards can still get their E KYC done in the ration shops from the 1st to 10th of every month. “Getting E KYC is mandatory,” stated the DC in the press release.
