Udupi, Feb 13: Udupi municipal council and local associations held a cleanliness drive from Karavali junction to Balaipade on one side and from Karavali junction to Santhekatte on the other side on February 13 at 7 am on both sides of national highway 66.
Additional deputy commissioner Sadashiva Prabhu inaugurated the campaign and called on keeping Udupi clean.
Council president, Sumitra R Nayak, vice president, Laxmi Manjunath Salian, standing committee president, Girish M Anchan, councillors, municipal commissioner, Uday Shetty, assistant executive engineer. Mohan Raju, environment engineer Sneha K S and officials, staff and civic workers took part in the campaign, stated the Udupi municipal council in the press release.
