Mangaluru: Blood donation camp held at Padua College

Mangaluru, Feb 15: The National Service Scheme unit along with the Youth Red Cross Unit of Padua College of Commerce and Management in collaboration with Fr Mullers Medical College Hospital, JCI Lalbagh and Lions Club, Ashoknagar Saturday February 13 organised a blood donation camp. The camp was held at Padua College auditorium from 9 am to 1 pm.

Fr Maxim Rosario, diocesan estate manager was the chief guest on the occasion. The president of JCI, Lalbagh, JC Prashanth B Shetty welcomed the gathering at the inaugural programme. Both the chief guest, Fr Maxim Rosario and the president Fr Alwin Serrao principal of Padua College of Commerce and Management, spoke about the importance of blood donation.



The president of Lions Club, Ashoknagar, Prajwala proposed the vote of thanks. 112 NSS volunteers were present for the inaugural programme. Prof. Roshan Santhumayor, the NSS coordinator was present on the chair. A total of 84 donors came forward to donate their blood.
