Bengaluru, Mar 15: Former chief minister Siddaramaiah, said that his party will raise the topic of Jarkiholi CD in the assembly.

Speaking to media persons here on Sunday, he said he will raise the issue of the aggrieved lady having sought protection. He refused to comment on the rumours that Congress leaders were involved with the CD but said those who have committed wrongs should face punishment.

Chief minister B S Yediyurappa, said that Siddaramaiah is free to raise any topic in the house. He said he will welcome it if he takes up the CD issue.

In the meantime, BJP MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal, said that the CD release is backed by a huge conspiracy to politically finish the career of Ramesh Jarkiholi. He said that it will be impossible for the special investigation team to reach the logical conclusion. So he asked the case to be entrusted to the Central Bureau of Investigation.

He said that in the two video clips, it is observed that two separate colloquial languages are used in the CD. He said while the sex CD has north Karnataka language, the CD seeking protection has used Bengaluru style language.
