Kasargod: Two held with gold worth one crore rupees

Kasargod, Mar 16: Two persons from the district, who were found smuggling gold ornaments illegally from abroad were arrested from Kannur airport on Monday March 15. Gold worth about one crore rupees was recovered from their possession.

The arrested ac cused happen to be Muhammad Kunhi Hasinar from Kasargod Talangare and Naushad from Kasargod. Gold items worth Rs 85 lac and Rs 16 lac respectively were confiscated from their possession.

Both the accused were arrested.
