Dharwad: Vinay Kulkarni's brother's car accident - Two dead

Dharwad, Apr 13: After a car belonging to Vijay Kulkarni, brother of former minister Vinay Kulkarni, hit people who were standing by the roadside with their motorbike, two persons died and another was injured. This accident occurred on Monday April 12 near KVG Bank on Belagavi Road in the city.

Sharana Mouneshwar Nayaka (18), of Joshi Farms in the city and son of Fakkiravva from Devarahubballi village, who currently is the vice president of the taluk panchayat here, and Shekhar Basappa Huddar (37), resident of Ettinaguddi, lost their lives in the accident. Aravind Patil, an employee of KV Banbk, who is a resident of Sadhana Keri here, was injured.

Immediately after the accident, driver of the car fled from the spot. It is said that Vijay Kulkarni was one of the occupants of the car. The car was taken into custody by the personnel of the traffic police station, who have registered a case.
