Mangaluru: 'Radio Nitte' launched at Nitte Mahalinga Adyanthaya Memorial Technology Institute

Mangaluru, Apr 14: ‘Radio Nitte’, an internet radio centre was started at Nitte Mahalinga Adyanthaya Memorial Technology Institute, a subsidiary of Nitte Group of institutes on April 13.

Girish Marate, senior manager of Bengaluru’s Microfocus Software Company inaugurated the radio station.

The station will transmit educational, cultural, social, technological, health, agricultural, sports and literary programmes from Monday to Friday every evening from 5 pm to 5.30 pm.

Those who are interested may download the ‘Radio Nitte’ application from the Google Play store or IOS.

Nitte College of Technology principal Dr Niranjan N Chiplunkar, MCA department head Dr Surendra Shetty, music artist Manjula Girish Marate, organization PRO Krishnaraj Joisa, Radio station technicians Harshavardhan, Praveen and Geeta were present.
