Udupi: Prior phone call must for patients in need of ICU, ventilator at Kasturba Hospital

Udupi, Apr 14: "Due to the increase in the overall ICU cases, there is an acute shortage of ICU beds, ventilators at Kasturba Hospital, Manipal. Hence we request everyone to reach out to the mobile no 9686692603 before shifting the ICU and ventilator needed patients," said Dr Avinash Shetty, medical superintendent of Kasturba Hospital to all the hospitals, nursing homes, patients/patient parties and ambulance service providers.

He further stated that calling and taking confirmation is necessary so that patients do not face inconvenience. Dr Avinash also requested cooperation in this regard.
