Mangaluru: Sullia student on visit to city mosque collapses, dies

Mangaluru, Apr 18: A student who was on a visit to the city to deliver religious discourse connected with Ramzan, collapsed and passed away at Marakada here on Saturday, April 17.

The deceased has been identified as Abdul Al Sinan Ajjavar (20), son of Hasainar Haji and Zohra from Ajjavar near Sullia.

It is normal for Dara's students to visit different mosques during the month of Ramzan to get training in religious discourses. Sinan, likewise, had visited the mosque at Marakada in the city le evening on Friday. After he broke his fast and completed Taraveeh namaz, he also delivered a religious discourse.

On Saturday morning, when washing the plate after having food, he collapsed to the ground.

Sinan was a second-year student of Kumbra KIC Wafi second grade. He also was a BCom first year degree student. He was considered to be a brilliant student.
