Mangaluru, Apr 19: Reshieal Roshni Monteiro, a student of Carmel School participated in the state-level powerlifting championship at Saligrama of Udupi district, won a silver medal and was selected for the national level.
At the national level powerlifting championship held at Uttar Pradesh, she won a gold medal under the sub-junior category.
She also participated in the state-level bench press championship powerlifting competition and won the gold medal under the sub-junior category and bronze in the senior category. She is hailed as the 'Strong Woman' and the 'Best Lifter' of Karnataka 2021 and selected for the nationals to be held in Goa. It was a moment of pride and magnificence yet another benchmark of distinction and brilliance to the entire Carmel fraternity.
