Daijiworld Media Network - Mysuru (SP)

Mysuru, Apr 20: The villagers of Kuravatti village within Sindhuvalli gram panchayat had a miraculous escape from certain death after they desisted from consuming water coming in their taps, as they observed that the water had a strong odour.

On Monday, at the scheduled time, water flowed into the taps of the village. The people who became suspicious, did not consume this water. If they had consumed, the entire family would have turned into a graveyard. The village has a population of over 1,500.

It could not be immediately ascertained who had mixed insecticide into the tank and why. The water from this tank is used by all the villagers. It is said that some miscreants poured insecticide into this tank located 40 feet above ground level, and having a capacity of 50,000 litres.
