Udupi: Tahsildar cancels false caste certificates

Udupi, Apr 21: Two persons, Madhava and Kavitha, had obtained caste certificates certifying them to belong to Mogera, a caste falling within scheduled caste category. After he came to know about this foul play, the tahsildar cancelled them.

He also ordered that if the two submit applications for caste certificates again, they will face legal action through the respective revenue inspectors.
